Top quality black wool makes up thus truly magnificent example of vintage coats from the late 1940s. This one has great details such as the oversized buttons closing the front and the side slit pockets lined in satin.
But the real show stopper is the beading and soutache that sparkles on the ends of the wide cuffed bell sleeves. Large padded shoulders are typical of the late 1940s.
It has generous armholes so it will fit a range of sizes from small to large- up to a 14 -16 tops. Its not super heavy- its perfect for an evening coat, or wearing over a suit.
It is lined in black satin. It does not have a label, other than the National Recovery Board label, but it is top quality!
